Christopher Ruiz
Hello, I'm Chris Ruiz, recently relocated to Arizona. I am a United States Marine Corps vet (yes, my license plate says crayons). I have a 2020 Subaru STI. As of right now, I am the ONLY STI in Bullhead City. My mods include a GFB BOV, Grimmspeed Cold air intake, Invidia R400 exhaust, molded innovations fog lights, Variant aero front splitter and rear diffuser, and plenty more planned. I have three kids, a son (21) and two girls (17 & 16). My oldest daughter wants to begin her journey into this culture with her own WRX. She has helped me install some of my mods and has seen the blood, sweat, and tears that go into keeping my passion alive and building my dream.
My passion for cars began when my dad took my brothers and me to car shows. Here is where I realized that cars could be more than just a means of getting you from point A to point B, and I found my love spans all types, from JDM and muscle to low-riders. I live life by one simple rule: if someone pours their heart into their machine and makes them happy, do not steal their joy!
The car community in Bullhead City, Arizona, is more of the older generation with classic cars. My goal with my build is to diversify the car community and bring together the old and new generation enthusiasts. So much can be learned from and by both generations, and I would love to show my kids that no matter your age, preference, or build, you respect others' builds because we are all part of the same family at the end of the day. I want to start a car club with weekly meet-ups, building up the car community here and expanding the support for enthusiasts at all levels. There is nothing better than a sense of belonging. The bonds made through a car club more often surpass friendships becoming brothers and sisters. My goal with my car club is to turn these friendships into a family.
