What makes the Hybrid valve unique is its hybrid venting design, which allows it to function as a standard recirculation valve under low boost, but function as a vent to atmosphere valve under high boost. This gives you the best of both worlds, producing the sporty atmospheric blow-off sound that everyone loves without affecting the daily drivability of your Mazdaspeed3.
